About the Author

Scott Wang (that's me!) is a computer technician and website developer currently residing in Thorp, Wisconsin. I love the sense of accomplishment when a task is done well. The completion of a nice website or the repair of a tough computer problem keeps me fueled. Sometimes the pressure of business makes me wonder what my calling in life is, but after a relaxing Sabbath (saturday) away from the race, I can put things back into perspective and realize that I am right where I'm supposed to be.

I love yellow lab puppies and chocolate chip cookies.

I love fast computers. In my personal opinion, slow computers should be thrown away. They are a bane to society, causing wasted time and torture to one's patience. I've often considered the possibility of refusing to work on any slow computers... but my professional opinion is a little more tempered and I try to work with anything that comes my way.

I would die without music. I love good Christian music with nice steady beats. These include Celtic (those bagpipes can send chills up my spine), alternative (Newsboys and DC Talk are great!), trance (like Ambient Theology, Cloud 2 Ground and other NSOUL artists), rap (like John Reuben), dance (like Nitropraise), techno (like WWMT!) and MOST definitely hip hop (Redcloud, Sackcloth Fashion - personal favorites!).

I always look forward to the Sabbath, when my mind can be cleared of all technical data and I get to start a new week fresh.

On December 19th, 2004 at 9:00pm I realized that I thought monkeys were ugly.

I like computer games, but they take up too much time. I could play Wolfenstein: Enemey Territory for hours on end. My record stretch is 25 hours of solid play. I finally had to uninstall Wolfenstein so I wouldn't be tempted to keep playing it.

Monopoly, Risk, Checkers, and Solar Quest are some of my favorite board games. I can easily spend an hour playing Risk on the computer - though I win most games within 5-10 minutes. Lords of the Realm II is another favorite computer game. It's old but a great strategy game! Checkers on MSN Messenger is fun too - anyone up for a game??
